Origin

Four questions every worldview must answer are the questions of Origin, Meaning, Morality and Destiny. Origin is basically the answer to: Where did I come from? How did the universe begin? What is the thing from which everything else comes? All world views must answer these questions as well. Which answer makes the most sense?

Purpose-Meaning

Is there a purpose in the universe? This would depend a lot on your view of the Origin question. Are you a speck of matter that came in by chance or could you be designed with a purpose. It is easy to see if one has a belief in God then there is a possibility of purpose and meaning. If one believes you are a product of random chance, time and matter than one would be hard pressed to find real purpose. Maybe purpose in little things but ultimate purpose would not have any meaning. Are we determoined and have no choice in what we do or do we have free will on important issues?

Morality

**How do you differentiate between right and wrong? Is there good in the world? Is there evil? How do you know the difference? If there is a right and wrong than there has to be a moral law that we would go by in order to determine the difference. If there is a moral law, then there needs to be a moral law giver. On the other hand did your ideas only come from genetics and environment?

Destiny

This one refers to our mortailty and the fact that death is certain. What will happen after death? Is that it and everything is physical matter so its over? Or is there a soul and non-material part of our being that images a possible transcended being or ming that indicates a purpose and reason for living? All World Views must answer these four questions and using logic and rational thought we can side with the view that answers all four questions with the most consistancy and coherence.
